Triplets by Diane Arbus

Another picture of twins from the famous photographer Diane Arbus. How does it feel to have a double? How do you feel when you look into someone else’s face and you see yours? Startled? A bell of recognition rings inside your head? Or would you say, ” Excuse me…but you are the spitting image of…ME (!).”
The twin phenomenon is unique in a world when you are constantly told to be yourself, to have your own identity, to be one of a kind, to be different from anybody else, to be original.
But I think it is believed that everybody has his or her own double somewhere…:)
