Favorite fanmade TV series soundtrack 4: Vampire Diaries (Damon and Elena)

Some prayers find an answer
Some prayers never know
We’re holding on and letting go

I know, a more popular choice would be to post ‘All I Need’ from Within Temptation from that famous dancing scene of Damon and Elena, but I like this song more, since I can relate to it more…:-). Yeah, I think sometimes we have to hold on to something while letting it go at the same time. Hmmm, difficult, don’t you think? But I guess, sometimes it’s the only choice we have. And about prayers, well, they say that God works in mysterious ways, doesn’t He?

Enjoy this beautiful song from Ross Copperman, and thank you for ChanniezProdz for the amazing video.

“Holding On And Letting Go by Ross Copperman”

Is anybody out there?
Is anybody listening?
Does anybody really know?
If it’s the end of our beginning,
A cry
A rush
From one breath
Is all we’re waiting for
Sometimes the one we’re taking
Changes every one before
[Chorus]
It’s everything you wanted, it’s everything you don’t
It’s one door swinging open and one door swinging closed
Some prayers find an answer
Some prayers never know
We’re holding on and letting goSometimes we’re holding angels
And we never even know
Don’t know if we’ll make it,
But we know,
We just can’t let it show
[Chorus]
It’s everything you wanted, it’s everything you don’t
It’s one door swinging open and one door swinging closed
Some prayers find an answer
Some prayers never know
We’re holding on and letting go
Yeah, letting goIt’s everything you wanted, it’s everything you don’t
It’s one door swinging open and one door swinging closed
Some prayers find an answer
Some prayers never know
We’re holding on and letting go
[Chorus]
It’s everything you wanted, it’s everything you don’t
It’s one door swinging open and one door swinging closed
Some prayers find an answer
Some prayers never know
We’re holding on and letting go.
