On Marriages

“It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.”
― Friedrich Nietzsche
“A lady’s imagination is very rapid; it jumps from admiration to love, from love to matrimony in a moment.”
― Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice
“Don’t you think it’s better to be extremely happy for a short while, even if you lose it, than to be just okay for your whole life?”
― Audrey Niffenegger, The Time Traveler’s Wife
“You know it’s never fifty-fifty in a marriage. It’s always seventy-thirty, or sixty-forty. Someone falls in love first. Someone puts someone else up on a pedestal. Someone works very hard to keep things rolling smoothly; someone else sails along for the ride.”
― Jodi Picoult, Mercy

I love these quotes on marriages. I found them very realistic. Many girls think that marriages are all about the wedding, the altar, and no further. I hope my friend enjoy them too…:-). Congratulations! May you two have a long and happy life together.

  1. I tend not to drop many responses, but i did a few searching and wound up here On Marriages | Just Write Away.
And I do have 2 questions for you if you do
not mind. Could it be simply me or does it look as if like a few of the comments appear like coming from brain dead people?
😛 And, if you are writing on other sites,
I’d like to keep up with anything fresh you have to post. Would you make a list of all of your social pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
